Receive Your DiDi OTP Online With NumberFlare
To get a DiDi verification code online, open NumberFlare Instant OTP, choose DiDi and the country your account belongs to, enter the number in the DiDi app, and the SMS appears in your live inbox, usually within a minute or two. Instant OTP starts from $0.20 per code and is refunded automatically if no code arrives within 20 minutes. For a DiDi phone number you can keep for later logins and calls, Cloud Numbers start from $1.95/month.
One brand, several markets: how DiDi uses your number
DiDi began as a ride-hailing platform in China, where it is the everyday way to book a car in most large cities. It has since expanded abroad, most visibly in Latin America, with markets such as Mexico, Colombia and Chile, and in the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand. In some places the app also covers food delivery.
Wherever you open it, DiDi treats your mobile number as the core of the account:
- Registration. A one-time SMS code confirms the number before you can book a ride.
- New devices. Signing in on another phone usually triggers a fresh code.
- Pickups. Depending on the market, a driver may contact you through the app or by phone when they cannot find you.
Because DiDi runs differently from one country to the next, the country of your number is not a detail. It should match the market where you will actually ride.
Where is Instant OTP for DiDi available?
NumberFlare currently offers Instant OTP for DiDi in 198 countries. That includes Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic in the Americas, plus Australia, New Zealand, Japan and China in Asia-Pacific.
A good rule: pick the country you ride in, not the country you happen to be sitting in today. If you are preparing for a move to Mexico City or Santiago, the local option is the one that keeps the account in the right market. The live list in the dashboard shows what is available at the moment you buy.
Typing a DiDi number correctly: dial codes and leading zeros
A formatting slip is one of the easiest ways to lose a DiDi code, and it has nothing to do with delivery. The app asks for the country first and then the national number, so the dial code should never appear twice.
- Mexico (+52): enter the ten-digit national number after selecting Mexico.
- Brazil (+55): the national number starts with a two-digit area code.
- Australia (+61): mobile numbers written locally as 04… lose the leading 0 after +61.
- Chile (+56) and Colombia (+57): select the country, then paste the remaining digits exactly as shown.
NumberFlare displays each number in international format. Copy everything after the dial code and you will rarely go wrong.
How do I receive a DiDi code on NumberFlare?
- Register at signup and confirm your email with the 6-digit code.
- Add funds to your prepaid USD wallet by card or crypto (USDT or USDC). After the first top-up you can see exact prices and buy.
- Go to Instant OTP, select DiDi, then select the country.
- Buy the number and copy it.
- In DiDi, pick the same country and paste the number.
- Request the SMS. The DiDi code appears in your live inbox, usually within a minute or two.
- Enter the code in DiDi to finish.
Each number is held for 20 minutes. You are charged only if the DiDi SMS arrives in that time; otherwise the money goes back to your wallet without you asking. Prices start from $0.20 per code and depend on the country, as explained on our pricing page.
Why might a DiDi SMS not come through?
When the inbox stays empty, work through this short list:
- Wait. Let the 20-minute window run before you assume the code is lost, and ask DiDi to resend only once.
- Re-check the country. A Mexican number entered under a different country code will never receive anything.
- Try again later. A new number, bought a little later, can succeed where the first one did not.
- Remember that DiDi may refuse some virtual numbers. That is a decision on DiDi's side, and it is the reason the refund rule exists.
If a number is refused, nothing is charged. You can try a fresh number or switch to a Cloud Number.
Need the same DiDi number next month? Use a Cloud Number
An Instant OTP number belongs to you for one code only. That is fine for confirming a sign-up, but DiDi will text the same number again when you change phones, and a driver may need to reach you during a pickup.
A Cloud Number from NumberFlare is a second phone number you keep while it renews, from $1.95/month. It includes browser calling in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, an SMS inbox, call logs, call forwarding to your mobile and voicemail.
United States, Canadian and Puerto Rican numbers are instant and self-serve. For other countries, including DiDi markets like Mexico or Australia, you request the number from the dashboard. Our team then confirms availability and price and lets you know if local rules require an address or ID check before activation. How long that takes depends on the country.
Keeping your DiDi account above board
Use DiDi under its terms in each country. Good reasons to use a NumberFlare number include keeping your personal mobile private, setting up an account for your own business travel, or testing a ride flow in an app you are developing. Do not use new numbers to open several accounts or to collect first-ride coupons repeatedly.
Drivers sign up under their own identity and go through DiDi's checks. A virtual number does not change those requirements.
