How to Get a +32 Belgian Number for Codes or Calls
NumberFlare offers Belgium (+32) numbers through two products: Instant OTP, which gives you a number for one verification code from $0.20 per code and charges only if the code arrives, and Cloud Numbers, a Belgian line for calls and SMS from $1.95/month. Belgian Cloud Numbers are available on request, because local rules call for an address or identity check before activation.
Checklist: are you ready to order a Belgian number?
- [ ] You have a NumberFlare account, created at signup and confirmed with the 6-digit email code.
- [ ] Two-factor (TOTP) is switched on, which we recommend for any account holding wallet credit.
- [ ] Your USD wallet has been topped up by card or USDT/USDC. The first top-up unlocks purchases.
- [ ] You know whether this is a one-off code or a long-term line.
- [ ] For a Cloud Number, you have a Belgian address or ID details at hand, since the activation check usually asks for them.
- [ ] You have read the target service's terms and your use fits them.
If every box is ticked, the rest takes only a few minutes for Instant OTP.
Apps and sites that accept a Belgium phone number for verification
Instant OTP in Belgium currently covers more than 1,700 services. Among them are WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram, Google (Gmail & YouTube), TikTok, Snapchat, X (Twitter), Microsoft & Outlook, ChatGPT (OpenAI), Amazon, Uber, Airbnb and eBay.
What is offered can change from day to day as carrier routes shift. The dashboard shows the live list and the price per service before you confirm anything.
From order to code: receiving SMS online in Belgium
- Open Instant OTP in your dashboard.
- Select the service and set the country to Belgium.
- Confirm the displayed price. Your +32 number appears at once.
- Enter it in the service's phone field and ask for a code.
- The code shows up in the live inbox, usually within a minute or two.
- Paste it back into the service.
The number is reserved for 20 minutes. No code in that time means no charge: the amount is returned to your wallet automatically.
Belgian number format: the leading zero and +32
Belgians usually write mobile numbers with a leading zero, for example 04 followed by eight more digits. In international format the zero disappears, so the number becomes +32 4 and the remaining digits. Brussels landlines follow the same rule: 02 at home becomes +32 2 abroad.
When filling in a sign-up form:
- If you choose Belgium (+32) from a dropdown, type the rest of the number without the 0.
- If the form takes one field, paste the full number beginning with +32.
- Spaces and dots between digit groups are common in Belgium, but most forms want digits only.
Belgium has three official languages: Dutch, French and German. A service may send its code in any of them, or in English, depending on your account language rather than the number.
If nothing reaches the inbox
Go down this list before giving up:
- Check the zero. Entering +32 04 instead of +32 4 is an easy way to send a code nowhere.
- Leave the window open. Some services take longer than usual. Wait the full 20 minutes.
- Confirm the service allows virtual numbers. Certain platforms do not accept them, which is why Instant OTP refunds unused orders.
- Retry later on a new number. A fresh Belgian number at a different time can get through when the first did not.
- Limit resend taps. Repeated requests can trigger a service's rate limits.
Use each service as its terms allow, with one account per real person or business.
Requesting a Belgian Cloud Number you can keep
Belgium is one of the countries where Cloud Numbers are available on request. Select Request another country in the dashboard and choose Belgium, or email [email protected]. Our team confirms availability and price, and because Belgian rules require an end-user address and/or identity verification, the number is activated only after that check is complete. Timing depends on the regulator, so it is not instant and not guaranteed by a set date.
An active Belgian Cloud Number includes browser calling in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with no SIM, call logs, contacts, forwarding to your mobile and voicemail. SMS depends on the specific number. Plans start from $1.95/month and renew from your wallet. Read more on the Belgium virtual number page and pricing.
Instant OTP or Cloud Number for Belgium?
Brussels hosts EU institutions and many international organizations, so plenty of people work in Belgium on contracts or postings and need a local number for a limited purpose. If all you need is one code to sign up for a service, Instant OTP is quicker and cheaper. If clients, landlords or colleagues need to call you on a +32 number, or an account will ask for the same number again at login, a Cloud Number is the right tool.
Companies serving the Benelux region often pair a Belgian line with numbers in the Netherlands or Luxembourg. App teams can use Instant OTP to test that their verification flow handles Dutch and French SMS text correctly.
