Thai +66 Numbers for Verification Codes and Business Calls
Yes, you can get a Thailand (+66) number from NumberFlare in two ways. Instant OTP gives you a number for one verification code, from $0.20 per code and charged only if the code arrives, while a Cloud Number is a lasting line for calls and SMS from $1.95/month that our team sets up on request after confirming availability, price and any address or ID check.
Stuck at a form that wants a Thai phone number?
Usually it is one of these. You sell to Thai customers, and a marketplace or messaging account asks for a local number. You moved away from Bangkok, your prepaid SIM expired, and an app still expects +66. Or your team is building a product for Thai users and wants to check that sign-up works with real Thai numbers before launch.
Each case is really one of two problems. Sometimes you need a single code, once, to finish a sign-up. Other times you need a number that stays yours, so customers can call it and you can log in again next month. NumberFlare covers both: Instant OTP for the one-time code and a Cloud Number for the lasting line. The sections below explain how each works for Thailand and how to choose.
Which services send codes to a Thailand virtual number?
Instant OTP for Thailand currently supports more than 1,800 services. The ones readers ask about most include:
- LINE, the chat app many people in Thailand rely on every day
- WhatsApp, Telegram and Signal
- Shopee and Lazada, two of the biggest shopping platforms in the region
- Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Google (Gmail and YouTube) and Microsoft and Outlook
- ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude
- Airbnb and Netflix
Prices differ by service, start from $0.20 per code, and appear before you buy. Service names belong to their owners, and NumberFlare has no affiliation with any of them.
How do I receive an SMS code online with a +66 number?
- Create a NumberFlare account with your email and enter the 6-digit code we send you.
- Add funds to your wallet. Your first top-up unlocks buying.
- Open Instant OTP, pick the service, then pick Thailand.
- Check the price on screen and confirm. A Thai number appears straight away.
- Paste that number into the service's verification screen and ask it to send the code.
- Keep the live inbox open; most codes land there within a minute or two.
Each number stays active for 20 minutes and is meant for one code, so finish the verification while the window is open.
The code didn't come. What now?
If nothing arrives within the 20-minute window, you are not charged: the amount returns to your wallet automatically. Before you give up, a few checks help:
- Let the full window run. Some services send codes slowly at busy times.
- Confirm the service accepts virtual numbers. Some platforms refuse them for certain account types, and no provider can override that decision.
- Try again later with a fresh number. A different Thai number on a later attempt may go through where the first did not.
- Look for an extra zero. A stray 0 after +66 is the most common typing mistake (see the next section).
Use every service within its own terms: one account per real person or business, created for a genuine reason.
How to enter a Thai mobile number without errors
Inside Thailand, mobile numbers are written with a leading 0 and have ten digits in total, usually starting 06, 08 or 09. In international format the 0 disappears and +66 goes in front.
So a number a Thai friend writes as 08X XXX XXXX becomes +66 8X XXX XXXX. In practice:
- If the form has a country picker, choose Thailand (+66) and type the remaining nine digits with no leading 0.
- If the form has one single field, enter the whole number starting with +66.
- Spaces and dashes rarely matter, but an extra 0 after the dial code usually makes the code fail.
Many Thai services write their SMS in Thai script, sometimes with an English line underneath. The code itself is a string of digits, so you can copy it even if you don't read Thai.
Can I get a Thailand number I keep for calls and texts?
Yes, on request. Thailand is not one of the self-serve countries; those are the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. For Thailand, open Request another country in the dashboard. Our team confirms whether Thai numbers are available, what they cost, and whether local rules call for an address or ID check before activation. How long that takes depends on the requirements at the time, so we don't promise a fixed date.
Once active, a Thai Cloud Number gives you:
- Calls made and answered in your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari), with no app and no SIM
- A dashboard SMS inbox (whether a Thai number takes texts varies by number)
- Call logs and a contacts list
- Forwarding to your own mobile, plus voicemail for missed calls
Cloud Numbers start from $1.95/month and renew from your wallet on the plan you bought. If the wallet can't cover a renewal, the number is released after it expires.
A one-time code or a lasting Thai line: which one?
The deciding question is whether this number has a future in your account.
- Choose Instant OTP when you need one code to finish a sign-up and won't log in with that number later. It is quick, and you pay only when a code arrives.
- Choose a Cloud Number when the number becomes part of the account: login checks months from now, account recovery, or a contact line printed on your shop page. An Instant OTP number is gone after its window, so it is the wrong tool for anything you must verify again.
Teams selling across Southeast Asia often pair the two: a Cloud Number as the public second phone number, and Instant OTP for testing their own sign-up flows. If you also work in neighboring markets, see our pages for Malaysia and Cambodia.
Paying for Thai numbers by card or crypto
Every NumberFlare purchase is paid from a prepaid balance kept in US dollars. Top up by card, or with USDT or USDC on one of the supported networks. For crypto, send the exact amount shown, decimals included, on the network you selected; the balance is credited after the network confirms it. Checkout uses your wallet balance first, and PDF invoices arrive by email for top-ups and number purchases. The full breakdown is on our pricing page.
