Ukrainian +380 Numbers: Short-Term Codes or a Long-Term Line
NumberFlare offers Ukraine (+380) numbers through two products: Instant OTP for receiving one verification code, starting from $0.20 per code, and Cloud Numbers for a line you keep for calls and SMS, starting from $1.95/month. Instant OTP is self-serve and immediate, while a Ukrainian Cloud Number is available on request after our team confirms availability, price and whether an address or ID check is needed.
Do you need a code today or a Ukrainian number for the long run?
The two NumberFlare products answer different needs, so it pays to decide before you spend anything.
Instant OTP is built for one moment. You get a +380 number, receive a single code inside a 20-minute window, and you are done. It starts from $0.20 per code and you pay only when the code arrives.
A Cloud Number is built for continuity. It is your number for calls, texts, voicemail and forwarding, and it stays with you while it renews. Prices start from $1.95/month.
Ask yourself whether the account you are creating will text this number again: for password resets, new-device logins or two-step checks. If the answer is yes, a code-only number is the wrong tool, and a Cloud Number avoids being locked out later.
Popular apps for a Ukraine phone number for verification
Instant OTP on Ukrainian numbers currently covers more than 1,500 services. Some of the most requested:
- Telegram
- Viber
- Google (Gmail & YouTube)
- Instagram and Facebook
- Discord and X (Twitter)
- Microsoft & Outlook
- AliExpress and Amazon
- ChatGPT (OpenAI)
Telegram and Viber are both widely used for everyday messaging in Ukraine, which is why they sit near the top of this list. The dashboard shows what is live at the moment you buy. Stay within each service's terms, and keep to one account per real person or business.
Receiving a code on a +380 number
- Sign up at /signup and verify your email with the 6-digit code.
- Make your first wallet top-up, which unlocks purchases.
- Open Instant OTP, pick your service, and select Ukraine.
- Confirm the price displayed for that service.
- Copy the +380 number and paste it into the app's phone field.
- Pick up the code from the live inbox, where most arrive within a minute or two.
The number remains active for 20 minutes. No code in that time means no charge: the money goes back to your wallet without a support ticket.
How Ukrainian numbers are written
Domestically, Ukrainian mobile numbers begin with a 0, as in 0XX XXX XX XX. Internationally, that 0 disappears and the country code takes its place: +380 XX XXX XX XX, with nine digits after +380.
A quick way to remember it: the "0" in +380 already covers the leading zero, so never type +380 0. When a form offers a country selector, choose Ukraine and enter just the nine digits.
Verification messages are commonly in Ukrainian or English, depending on the service and the language your account uses. The code itself is a string of digits either way, so the language rarely gets in the way.
What if no SMS arrives?
First, let the full 20 minutes run, because some senders are slow. If the window still closes empty, the refund is automatic. Then:
- Request another Ukrainian number for the same service after a short pause.
- Make sure the number was entered without an extra zero.
- Check whether the service blocks virtual numbers. Some do, and that is the reason refunds are built in.
- If the app allows it, compare with a nearby market such as Poland or Moldova.
Ordering a Ukrainian Cloud Number
For Ukraine, a Cloud Number is an on-request item rather than an instant purchase; the self-serve shelf covers just the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Use Request another country in your dashboard; our team then confirms if a +380 number can be supplied, gives you the price, and explains whether local rules require an address or identity verification before activation. How long that takes depends on the country.
An active Ukrainian Cloud Number includes:
- Browser calling in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, with no app and no SIM
- A dashboard SMS inbox, if the number supports SMS
- Call history and saved contacts
- Forwarding to any mobile you own, and voicemail

Who benefits from a second phone number in Ukraine?
Many Ukrainians now live and work in other European countries. Plenty of them still use family chats, online accounts and local services tied to a +380 number. A Cloud Number can be a practical way to keep a Ukrainian contact point without roaming on an old SIM.
Other realistic cases:
- IT outsourcing firms and freelancers with Ukrainian clients who want a local line
- Companies testing a product launch for Ukrainian-speaking users
- People who would rather not hand their personal mobile to every marketplace
If you work across the region, NumberFlare also has guides for Romania and neighboring countries.
